ENTERING THE SPEEDWAY

Whether you’re visiting Chicagoland Speedway for the first time or coming back for another NASCAR weekend, a bit of planning can make your day much smoother. From security and tickets to parking and arrival tips, here’s what to keep in mind before the NASCAR Cup Series race.

Bag check and security

All bags are inspected at the gate. Make sure to review Chicagoland Speedway’s official list of allowed and prohibited items, including rules on food, drinks, and fan gear. Tickets and entry

Every guest must show a valid ticket to enter. The quickest way to get tickets is online, and buying early is recommended–grandstand and premium areas for the NASCAR weekend often sell out.

Parking options

Large crowds are expected, and parking areas fill quickly. Free general parking is available on-site, but it may require a longer walk to the gates. Paid premium parking is closer and more convenient. Off-site parking is limited, so follow posted signs to avoid fines or towing.
