RULES FOR VISITORS

Chicagoland Speedway follows standard NASCAR event policies to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all guests. Security screening is required at all entrances, and bringing only the essentials will help keep wait times short.

Entry guidelines

Visitors may carry a limited number of personal items into the facility. Each guest may bring up to two bags, provided they fall within the approved size limits. Backpacks, diaper bags, clutch bags, and fanny packs are welcome as long as they do not exceed 18 x 18 x 14 inches. These items must be soft-sided and easy to inspect during security checks.

Soft-sided coolers are also permitted, but only within the stricter size limit of 14 x 14 x 14 inches. Telescoping handles are acceptable if the cooler still fits within the required dimensions, and the hard plastic insert inside a soft cooler may remain in place. Glass containers are not allowed.

A mix of approved bags and one soft-sided cooler is permitted, but no guest may bring more than one cooler. Keeping items compact and within the size limits helps maintain smooth entry for everyone.

Restricted items

To ensure a safe race weekend, several categories of items are not allowed inside the venue. These include:

• Any items considered an obstruction to other spectators
• Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and similar devices
• Drugs, unless medically prescribed and necessary
• Firearms (prohibited under the Illinois Concealed Carry Act; no firearms allowed anywhere on the property or parking areas)
• Fireworks
• Glass containers
• Hard-sided coolers, insulated cups, and thermos containers of any size
• Knives
• Large flag poles or poles of any kind
• Lewd or offensive behavior and language
• Outside food and beverages (must be left at the gate)
• Pets (except trained assistance animals)
• Restricted items under Local, State, or Federal law
• Umbrellas
• Unattended restricted items in or around gate areas (not permitted)
• Weapons of any kind (including firearms; see above)

Allowed items

You can bring following items to the venue:

• All items brought through a grandstand gate are subject to search.
• Binoculars, cameras, headsets, and scanners worn over the neck or on the belt (not in a bag) are allowed.
• Guests without carry-in items are encouraged to use the express lanes at each admission gate
• Seat cushions carried separately are allowed; cushions with non-soft parts may be checked individually.
• Strollers are permitted through the gates but not allowed in the grandstand areas.
